30 Years Ago Today in GPS…

NAVSTAR 1Do you know what happened 30 years ago today related to GPS? The first GPS satellite, part of a group known as “Block I” was launched into space. The name given to the GPS network of satellites was “NAVSTAR” and the first satellite, NAVSTAR 1, has her 30th anniversary today. The satellite was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
