3dTracking Free GPS Tracking

Jan

2006

A company called 3dTracking is now offering a free service for GPS tracking. To use the service you will need a few things. A GPS receiver, a device running Windows PocketPC/Mobile 5.0 or a Java/Symbian phone, and an internet connection on that device such as a GPRS connection. Palm OS devices should be supported in February.

Once you have those pieces in place, simply download their software, setup an account, and track away! The system uses Google Maps and Google Earth to power the GPS tracking services.

  2. 3dtracking is waiting for more Palm folks to request the software before they develop it. So if you have a Palm device PLEASE ask them to develop it.
