Apple’s Version of LineDrive Maps?

As discovered by AppleInsider, a recent patent application from Apple shows they are interested in changing how information is presented on maps. Check out the image below, but doesn’t sound like the same concept as LineDrive Line Maps? Check out that link for details. Don’t get me started on the pitfalls of the US Patent system…
Yes, sounds pretty similar doesn’t it? That’s no matter to Apple of course. 😉
I don’t blame Apple for the problems of the US patent system though.
Absolutely not. But I’m no fan of their recent aggressiveness in IP, “look and feel” and associated lawsuits.

I have, and you’re correct that it’s an excellent program. It should be required listening before commenting on patents, particularly software ones.
