Bank Robber Tracked by GPS

Dec

2005

In Mandeira, Ohio a bank robber is not too happy with the benefits of GPS technology. Earlier this week Evan Obsaint walked into a bank and demanded money. He made away with the money, however he didn’t know the money had a GPS tracking device embedded. Investigators followed the GPS signal and eventually arrested the suspect.

  1. I am VP Operations for a credit union. We are interested in GPS tracking devices instead of Dye Paks or Bait Traps. Can you provide me with more information?

  2. Hi Teresa, unfortunately I don’t have any more information about what type of product they were using. The systems I’m familiar with would be too easy to remove since they wouldn’t be integrated or built into the packages like it sounds like this one was.
