Details are still short at this time, however we’ve got a picture (below) and a few details on timing.

It will be available for the 3G and 3Gs models, with pricing to be announced later.

The NAVIGON 2120 Max is basically the same as the NAVIGON 2100 Max with the exception of having maps of the USA and Canada. (The 2100 includes just the USA 48 Contiguous States.) Therefore most comments and questions should probably be applied to that page unless they are specific and unique to the 2120.

The NAVIGON 2100 Max is close to being that diamond in the rough. With an impressive list of features such as multi-destination routing, a widescreen display, and optional live traffic reporting, the 2100 Max from NAVIGON would just about win any feature-to-price comparison.

It does have a few flaws though, similar to other NAVIGON models. Many of the buttons are very tiny making them difficult to tap and the touch screen isn't quite as sensitive as competitive devices. Still, many of the optional add-ons like lifetime traffic updates and the FreshMaps program which essentially gets you three years worth of map updates for the price of one might just make you overlook some of those flaws and make this your pick.

The single biggest frustration users have with GPS devices is still map quality. While many GPS manufacturers have introduced programs to try and help, NAVIGON is the first major North American GPS manufacturer to offer a map subscription model. While many consumers, especially in North America, don’t like subscriptions, this could be a winner. NAVIGON’s [...]
