A new software solution has been announced for people who have Symbian phones and would like to install GPS software. Now through GPS software called Destinator SP, GPS navigation is possible on devices such as the Nokia 6600 in North America.

“Destinator SP is the perfect solution for business travelers who don’t want to carry multiple devices and who are tired of printing out Mapquest or Yahoo Local maps,” said Jeff Kukowski, senior vice president of marketing for Destinator Technologies. “Destinator is the first to deliver on this promise through live navigation that is extremely easy to use and real-time access to traffic and weather conditions that could affect a given trip.”

The basic software package, Destinator SP for Symbian is $150. The traffic service, myDestinator Traffic is available in 20 US cities for $6.95 per month.
