I’m disturbed to find that “Mac” support really means Macs running Intel CPUs. The older Power PC Macs appear to be unsupported. I never would have purchased this unit without the ability to use it on my Mac PowerPC!

I’ve had the most luck with MacGPS Pro. You can use many types of maps. RouteBuddy is new and although a nice Mac interface the maps (Theirs) are large and are slow to load.

I have a 60 Csx and have been using it on my Mac for over a year, just not Garmin products… other than webupdater/POI Loader as mentioned above. There are other third-party mapping solutions to transfer data, just nothing that Garmin provides.

They have announced a beta of webupdater as well as POI Loader, but no mention of MapSource. I've speculated on a MapSource update over here.

Shauna, there is updated information in the link just above your comment (in comment #2). Basically Garmin has delayed mac support and it looks like we won’t see compatibility with the Garmin 60CSx until early next year.
