Garmin Connect - Updates
Just a quick note that the folks over at Garmin Connect (MotionBased) have released a few updates to their service. Recently the new Edge 605 and 705 devices for cyclists became supported. This is slightly ahead of the release of the devices themselves which should start hitting stores this weekend. In Early April the Forerunner 405 should be supported for everyone but Mac users. (Mac users will need to wait until the end of 2008.) In late May Garmin Connect hopes to support all Garmin devices that are USB based.
Also in late May MotionBased uploads will be a thing of the past in favor of Garmin Connect. A new flavor, Garmin Connect Plus will also be offered with premium features for $40/year.
