Garmin GPS 10 Deluxe Review

Sep

2005

PocketLint has reviewed the Garmin GPS10. The Garmin GPS 10 is a bluetooth GPS that works with Pocket PCs and laptops providing them with GPS data. It comes with MapSource City Select North America which has maps of the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

They liked the compact size and that it was very easy to setup. They didn’t like the price.

It’s hard to get excited by what amounts to a small block of plastic sitting on the dashboard of your car. Getting the unit set up and running takes the best part of an hour from installing drivers to getting the module synchronised. However, what the GPS 10 Deluxe brings is a powerful and cost-effective solution that’ll get you to your destination in the quickest and most convenient fashion.
