Garmin Nuvi 310

Garmin has released the new Garmin Nuvi 310, a revision of the popular Garmin Nuvi GPS receiver. The Nuvi 310 has Bluetooth capabilities allowing the user to dial and receive calls from their Bluetooth phone without needing to touch the phone itself. Calls can be placed from the Nuvi 310’s POI database or through the internal contact manager. Incoming calls can also be routed through the Garmin Nuvi 310’s speaker to allow hands-free calling.

The maps in the Garmin Nuvi 310 include regional European maps. The Nuvi 310 also includes Garmin Lock.

Availability is expected for June.

  2. Hi Muks, I have just bought a nuvi 310 and it does not contain text to speech but it does display the street name at the top of the screen before each turn. I live in South Africa and find text to speach irritating as the pronounciation of many of our names is incorrect (and at times quite humorous). I don ot see many comments on this site and have spent a lot of time reading the nuvi 200 comments, thanks for a great site!
