Does this have multilane navigation? Is the 775t better then 780? If so how? I am buying my first GPS. I am like this one for the MSN traffic. I would have gone for a Streetpilot but the 7200 isn’t out yet I don’t think.
Nevermind that lass part about the 7200.
Yes, the 7×5 devices have lane guidance.
Awful. Everything about the entire experience has been awful. The unit stopped working after 2 weeks, an apparently common and expected issue. Customer service brainiacs – useless. They demanded that I send the thing to them, at my own expense, and until they get it, they would not send me a replacement. I just moved to a different country and really needed a GPS – they couldn’t care less. So I spend like $40 and wait 6 weeks to get a useless unit. Because they demanded I return it with all the hardware – mount, cables, etc. but sent it back alone. So, I can’t tell if it works or not. They have done nothing at all to make this up – this was actually a birthday present I gave to my husband, so I am mortified. They offered me a 10% discount on future purchases for my trouble, and still have not sent me any hardware. I disputed the charges with my credit card and will never ever use them again. Garbage product, insane “service.”
Sounds like you didn’t read your email from Garmin correctly. My year old unit was not holding a charge and Garmin was willing to replace the battery FREE if I shipped the unit only, no mounts, cables, SD card, etc. as the unit would merely be changed out with another and all accessories would be subject to loss. I’m thinking Garmin is an outstanding GPS provider.
