Garmin StreetPilot c320

The Garmin StreetPilot c320 is the entry level navigation device in the Garmin “c” series. The c320 like all of the other GPS receivers in the “c” series come with a larger, 3.5 inch display than those found on the “i” series. What makes the StreetPilot c320 the lower end of this lineup is that the maps do not come pre-installed. You will need to use the bundled software program to transfer the maps of the area you will be driving onto the included 128 MB SD card.

The other additions over the “i” series is an internal rechargeable lithium ion battery rather than the AA batteries. The StreetPilot c320 also features two speakers which are of a higher quality than the “i” series and make listening to the voice-prompted directions much easier.

But the biggest improvement in the “c” series is that these navigation devices come with a touch screen. Rather than navigating through the device via buttons surrounding the display, the StreetPilot c320 features a touch screen display so you can just tap the on-screen icons to navigate your way through the menu system. There are also colored faceplates available to match the interior color of your car.

  1. I’ve owned this product for over 3 years now, never got a problem. My newer c580 had died once within half year of purchase, go figure.
