I work for a company that uses Qualcomm mobile messaging units to keep track of semi-truck, trailers and trains. We had a case where a manager of a train yard kept having complaints from customers about the trailers arriving with dirt and other 'questionable' matter inside. Using the Qualcomm's built in GPS we were able to find that at night the trailers would mysteriously leave the yard and would come back a few hours later without anyone at the yard any wiser... needless to say that after the mysterious disappearing act we got the police to lay in wait and lo behold a cattle rancher was 'borrowing' the trailers to move his cows back and forth between fields.
