JetPhoto Mac Geocoding Geotagging
The other day we talked about the process of geocoding or geotagging photos. If you use a Mac, JetPhoto is one application that can help you geotag your photographs. One nice thing about JetPhoto is that you don’t need to give up using iPhoto if that is what you have been using to manage photos. JetPhoto works in conjunction with iPhoto.
Geotagging is as simple as importing the photos from your camera, connecting your USB GPS receiver, then import the trackpoints from the camera and select ‘Match All Photos with All Tracks’ from the JetPhoto application. Presto! All of your photos have been geocoded!
