Lowrance GPS with MP3 Player and Audio Directions Through Car Audio
Breaking News…. According to sources, Lowrance is currently finalizing development of new GPS systems with new audio features. Rather than relying on audio produced by an internal speaker, the new Lowrance devices will us an FM transmitter to send audio through your vehicle’s existing FM radio.
The system will allow you to store MP3 files and other audio on the internal drive of the GPS which can then be broadcast through your automobile’s car stereo system. Voice turn-by-turn directions will also be sent through your existing stereo system. Like most similar FM transmitters you will be able to select from any FM station you desire eliminating interference with other existing stations. You will be able to select the desired station from the menu system of the GPS as well as turn off the FM transmitter altogether.
