Magellan CrossoverGPS 3150

It looks like Magellan is getting ready to release a new device in their CrossoverGPS line. Soon we should be hearing more details surrounding the Magellan CrossoverGPS 3150. Details are still trickling in, however it appears that the 3150 model Crossover will add Bluetooth to the list of features held by the previous Crossover. The previous Crossover has received mixed reviews from customers, mostly because the included TOPO maps didn’t match the level of detail offered in other Magellan devices. The fact that it is only IPX-4 water-proof (or water-resistant as it were) also limited its appeal to outdoor enthusiasts.

Magellan CrossoverGPS 3150We also suspect that the 3150 might come with a traffic receiver included rather than an optional accessory, however this information has not been verified.

No pricing information is known yet, nor any release date, but we will be sure to keep our eyes and ears alert!

  1. Any thoughts on when this may become available. I have been looking at the older one and have seen too many mixed reviews.

  2. I haven’t heard much of anything John, as is typically the case in this type of situation.

  3. Anything new on this since the July post? I’m close to buying a 2500T Crossover.
