Purchased this unit before vacation and was thoroughly pleased with its performance and price [snip, see comment policy]. With the integrated RDS-TMC receiver I added NAVTEQ traffic subscription for $34/yr (w/AAA discount) and found several cases where it routed us around serious tie-ups, although it also recommended rerouting in two cases that were unnecessary. Very worthwhile!
The Bluetooth works well, but car noise pickup limits intelligibility. The auto-night screen was reliable, but I would prefer a dimmer display.
The small screen is very readable for its location near the left window post, and with text-to-speech there is less need to view the screen. Route recalculation, criticized by Cons. Rpts, was noticabably speeded with current software update.
After using a (costly) Garmin 800 in a rental car for a week, I heartily recommend this unit.
