With more than 1,000 fresh-water fishing destinations in the United States, MapSend Lakes USA software is an ideal accessory for recreational fishing and for finding new places to explore on the water. On the spot downloads are available for the Magellan Meridian series of handheld GPS receivers, as well as for the Magellan eXplorist 400, 500 and 600 GPS receivers for U.S. $99 per region.

“The key to a great GPS navigation experience is the ability to marry elegant and robust devices with relevant and flexible map data and content,” said Christian Bubenheim, vice president and general manager of Thales’ consumer business. “Not only will we continue to provide flexible solutions with outstanding content and devices, but we plan to make it more easily accessible to more audiences who have yet to discover the full potential of GPS.”
