Next Generation GPS System

Today the US Department of Commerce is expected to announce availablity of next generation GPS capabilities. The improvements will feature a second civilian GPS signal to improve accuracy and reliability.

The announcement is expected to come from US Commerce Deputy Secretary David Sampson during a keynote speech today.
