Novogo T70

Novogo-T70The Novogo T70 is also making an appearance at CES this week. The Novogo T70 is a GPS navigation system designed to be extremely portable. The depth of the device is just 22 mm and it weighs 160 grams. Maps of North American come preloaded on the device via SD card. The screen is a 3.5 inch color touch screen LCD display which displays 3D maps; audio is via 400 voice instructions.

What intrigues me the most about this GPS is the following statement from the product information sheet. “NOVOGO T Series also displays real road signposts on the screen and provides drivers also with the road speed limit information on each road section.”

This device should certainly be one to watch! Traffic information is also available in the European version.

  2. Similar issues have been raised over on the Novogo V30 V50 V70 V90 page about frustrations emailing them for support.

  3. I’ve just taken delivery of a T70 and it’s compact, fast, nice clear touch screen and looks well made and comes supplied with seamless western european maps on sd card.

Voice instructions are nice and clear and descriptive, and I’ve never seen a better car mount..loads of positions and angles with both a suction and optional fixed mounting supplied.

As for support I mailed website support prior to delivery and got a nice chap called dennis who has answered all my questions within 2 - 3 hrs don’t know the time difference u.k to tiawan but thats good…also there are phone numbers on website for most places in the world…if you look!

So so far so good, I do have a slight problem however that signpost information isn’t showing on map but I’m waiting for dennis to get back to me..I’t may be me not doing properly…

    Cheers

  4. I bought the NOVOGO t700 on 11/6/07 in Melbourne, Australia from Myer Store. How do I know whether the maps are the latest. Is there a site where I can download the latest maps.

  5. Vinod, you would need to check with NOVOGO to see if they offer updated maps for your area.

  6. I purchased my Novogo last June and love it. However, I e-mailed support several months ago asking how to delete only one of the history items instead of all my history and am still awaiting an answer.. Their lack of customer service is annoying

  7. Yes I as well bought T70 at first I head some problems and way or other I found the contacts and we clear it, but up to now it is working properly, I think the software it looks a bit poor from information near other products. The other problems that I am facing now are, sometimes it takes more then hour to get satellite and I told them for upgrading map and I am still with out answer.
