Personal GPS Locator Device by Navicom

Navicom has introduced a new GPS Personal Locator device. The Personal GPS Locator device is about the size of a keychain and features E911 Emergency systems, two-way voice speakerphone, touch dialing, and GPS tracking and GPS locating.

the Navicom GPS includes a USB port, 256k of flash memory, a data logger and costs about $489 with additional usage fees.

“The Personal Locator unit is one of the biggest revolutions in the GPS market. Personal tracking is exploding and we feel the unit offers such a wide array of opportunity for Navicom to capture that business,” said Keith Tench, President of Navicom GPS. “Navicom GPS Personal Locator is full featured and incredibly small, I believe this will be an important product for kids and teens on the go, the elderly, hikers/joggers, and unlimited others,” said Tench.

The product can reach out for help in a number of ways. It can be used like a cellular phone to contact emergency services via two-way voice communication, silently alert E911, send SMS (text messages) to a control center or the device can be monitored in real time over the internet.

“This product is completely different from that we currently have in our suite of services. Look for us to expand our relationships with existing retail and distribution channels to offer this product to a broad marketplace. Based on its size and capabilities, we plan to go wide and deep with nationwide retailers and distributors. It will be a new focus for us but one that makes sense for this product,” said John Pappas VP of Business Development.

  1. HI,
    my name is Rodrigo
I manage a small hotel in the Caribbean.
Here at the hotel, we operate 5 small boats for our costumers,
the boats go to town, and come back. we use the 5 all day all the time, for different activities.

Recently I have had a small problem. Control over the usage of the boats.
It has become a nightmare to control the usage of the boats, the distances they use to travel the timing, etc.

    my questions is:
do you have a system I can use here to track and have better control over my boats?

Meaning, GPS, or whatever in order to now where they are, what distances they have navigated, etc.

please let me now if you have something that I can use.

    thank you

    Rodrigo
