Phillips Abandons Plans for GPS

Phillips has abandoned their plans to enter the GPS race. Previously they had announced intentions to sell GPS navigation devices which would sell for around $500 - $550 but those plans were officially scrapped today. Phillips citied an already saturated market and low profit margins as the reason they will no longer move forward with their GPS plans.
