Planned WAAS Outage in Northeast

“Wookin’ for WAAS in all da wrong paces?” The FAA is testing future improvements to the WAAS system, and as a result of that test the WAAS signal will be unavailable to pilots for Instrument Flight Rules in certain areas. The signal will be partially unavailable now through April 23^rd in parts of the Northeast USA. Areas impacted include all of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and parts of New York.
