Planned WAAS Outage in Northeast

“Wookin’ for WAAS in all da wrong paces?” The FAA is testing future improvements to the WAAS system, and as a result of that test the WAAS signal will be unavailable to pilots for Instrument Flight Rules in certain areas. The signal will be partially unavailable now through April 23rd in parts of the Northeast USA. Areas impacted include all of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and parts of New York.
