RadioShack gets TomTom
RadioShack and TomTom announced today that TomTom GPS navigation systems will be available at RadioShack locations nationwide later this month.
“The breadth of RadioShack’s distribution network with thousands of convenient neighborhood stores and its well-deserved reputation as a market maker for new technologies is a natural complement to TomTom’s growing brand presence,” said Jocelyn Vigreux, president of TomTom.
RadioShack locations will soon receive the TomTom GO 510 and TomTom GO 910 GPS systems recently released.
“The mass public is just now starting to catch on to the tremendous benefits offered by portable GPS devices, and the new TomTom GO line is a great example of innovative and easy-to-use products that enhance the lifestyles of today’s on-the-go families and individuals.” said Jim Hamilton, RadioShack’s executive vice president, merchandising and marketing.
