TeleType will soon be releasing a new GPS navigation system that will cost under $400. The TeleType WorldNav 3000 XL will offer spoken directions, an MP3 player, a weight of under 8 ounces, as well as preinstalled maps of the USA. It features 3D maps, a POI database, touchscreen, and USB interface.

WorldNav 3000 XL is stylish, lightweight and easy to use, and we are excited to offer this device for a very reasonable price,” said Marleen Winer, a spokesperson for TeleType. The WorldNav product will be launched initially in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Localization and distribution is being expanded worldwide.
