Due to the fact that the 130 is identical to the 130s with the exception of text to speech, we won’t be writing a separate review of the 130. Instead, just read our review of the TomTom 130s and ignore the parts about text to speech. The non-TTS voices are very clear.

I am having problems updating to the latest application version for my TomTom One 130. I use a Mac, and the tech support at TomTom indicated that it was possibly a conflict with the “Spotlight” on my Mac. Does anyone have any information on this?
I recently purchased the most recent US Canada map, installed it, and now my TomTom just shows the screen with a “picture” of a TomTom gps with cord attached, and when touching the screen, there is no response.
Tech support has indicated that I should send my TomTom to them, but it might take 2 weeks to get it back.
Has anyone had this problem, and gotten it resolved without sending in the device?
