Hi all. I've just downloaded a TomTom New York Map for my Nokia N70.
Does anybody know wether it should include New Jersey or not? 'Cause it doesn't seems to be in.
Thx to anyone who might answer this

You can find your map version by clicking on the satellite reception icon in the lower right of the map view then clicking on the software version number in the lower right.

Thanks for the quick response. Do you know if any of the others (Garmin, Magellan) covers Asia? I imagine GPS units are available over there for not much more than the price of the maps anyway.

Are maps of Asia (specifically Japan) and Australia available for a Tom Tom One? I'm planning to buy one here in the States and expect to be living in Japan for a while next year. All I can find out is that maps of Europe are available but the Tom Tom map site seems to be down for maintenance.

Barbara, to get MapShare you need two things. (1) Update to application version 7 on your ONE. (2) Maps version 6.75 or later. The maps do cost money, I don't remember how much, but you can try pleading your case with TomTom support.

I just received a One "New Edition" as a gift. However, the software is version 665 and I don't have Map Share. Just how "New" (old) is this edition and do you have any idea when I can upgrade the map and at what cost? Thank you.

JT, the offer expired about 6 months or so ago, however you can try contacting TomTom support and asking them if they can do anything for you.
