I think you will need to call WorldNav-- we are not affiliated with them.

I have bought Worldnav 3000 XL from Craigslist and it did not come with DVD. The unit is only good for CA, NV, and AZ. Please help me to procure DVD or CD. 858 605 1645.

The following letter is a copy of what I sent to WorldNav GPS asking for assistance. I never did get a reply. The unit just sits on my dash collecting dust.

To Whom It May Concern:

I bought your product (WorldNav GPS) based on what I read on your web site. Your advertising portrayed your unit as more trucker friendly then any other on the market. I began to mistrust your unit the first day I used it in my car. I programmed your unit from address to address to a place with only three possible routes to get from point A to point B. Total driving distance no more then twelve miles. Twenty-eight miles later I stopped following your units directions.

Thinking it was possible that I had programmed your unit incorrectly I tried it again on a known route. Your unit repeatedly requested I take turns in the wrong direction and then routed me to a dead-end.

Thinking it was still possible I had programmed it wrong I took it out in my truck. This is a short list of the mistakes it made.

Running south on interstate 75 in Georgia it routed me strait thru Atlanta. That is illegal. It did the same thing coming back west on interstate 20. You can not drive a tractor-trailer into Atlanta unless you are making a delivery within the city limits.

Driving south on Green River Parkway from Owensboro, KY to Bowling Green, KY your unit repeatedly ask that I get off a great 4 lane, 70 mph highway to get on highway 231 (runs parallel) and drive thru a half dozen small towns. It even went as far as asking me to make illegal U-turns in the middle of the highway. At some point it just gave up and went blank because it couldn’t find routing. The routing was strait South.

On a truck route with my destination eight blocks strait ahead and a right for a half block your unit ask me to turn at every intersection into residential areas with no truck signs.

The three examples listed above are only a few of the dozens of mistakes your unit made in the course of a six week run. After the first mistake I could never trust your unit to route me anyplace.

Only once in six weeks did your unit do something helpful. In Springfield, MO it told me I had arrived at destination when nothing on the four corners was what I was looking for. By stopping I found out the business I was looking for only used the address for storage and would come get me. One time in six weeks of driving your unit did something helpful.

I read review by trucker Jim Mooney. Discouraging. I’m a trucker, too, and it’s the truck routing features I’m moste interested in. You know low clearances, restricted routes, etc.
I currently have a Garmin that has a truck routing feature, and it’s ok, but am intrigued by the Worldnav 3100, since it touts itself as the Pro Trucker GPS. What’s the latest on this? Sorry to send this a 2nd time, but I forgot to check off the notify-me-by-email box the first time.

I have been using the worldnav GPS for a while and am not really impressed by it at all. I wish I could return it actually. I purchased it because I am a trucker and the unit is supposed to route for trucks. However, the unit frequently routes me into impossible turns and narrow streets causing me to go around in circles when I can't make the turns it directs me to make. And the most disturbing thing of all is it tried to route me right over the Hoover dam which is no-access to trucks at all. I would not recommend this product at all.

I'm looking for a Nav system that is expandable to other countries, particularily Finland and other parts of Europe. I found your system that reads like it has excellent features but do not see this expanded country feature listed (but hoping). Do you have a model and price that I can use here in Finland and Europe? Can the 3000XL do this? Thanks for your reply.
